Encryption

The user sending a sensitive information usually wraps this in an envelope (encoding). The envelope is a random sequence of bits which can be interpreted by only the recipient (decoding). However classical RNGs are not truly random, meaning that it is possible to locate the underlying patten with enough observations. Our product is a semi device-independent quantum Random Number Generator that produces truly random bits that are certifiable by the principles of Quantum Mechanics. This enhances the security of encryption, manifold and ensures heightened protection for sensitive data.  Furthermore, the other potential applications of this technology span across cryptography, weather forecasting, and various research areas in the basic sciences.
